What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
While making my media I learnt lots of new skills in the process of making my media product. In the process of making my media I learnt lots of new skills, these new skills include, learning how to use a camera and editing techniques with Adobe Premire Pro. Before I started my media product I had no knowledge or experince with media. I had never had any experience with a camera of with Adobe Premire Pro, fortunutly for me I picked up the new skills quickly.
Before I started my media product I had only ever used a simple low quality camera, the ability to use this type of camera was useful for the making of my story board animatic. But for my actual filming of my media product I was lucky enough to use one of the school cameras. The camera was easy to get used to and learn to use, meaning that filming was easy for me. I was allowed usage of a school tripod this meant that my shots wouldn't turn out jumpy, using the tripod made filming easier for me. It was difficult to get the right light for filming with the camera, otherwise the ligh would look bad and not give my media product a proffesional finish.
To edit the raw footage for my media product I had to use Adobe Premiere Pro. I had no previous experience in using Adobe Premire Pro. Fortunutly for me I picked up the knowledge on how to use Adobe Premire Pro quickly. For my storyboard animatic I used Windows Movie Maker, this is because I don't need a high quality editor for the animatic. I also deciced to use Windows Movie Maker for my stop motion runner at the beging of my media project, this is because I only needed to cut down the clips and put them together, which was perfect for Windows Movie Maker. The paper girl running is shown below, I drew and cut her out myself, I did this because I thought it would make my thriller unique and interesting; hopefully appealing to an artistic audience.

I expected the quick cuts and and the flashing lights to be difficult to do. However I learnt quite quickly how to use Adobe Premire Pro and didn't find it difficult. It was difficult to agree with myself on what looked best for my media project. I learnt new skills while making the video and learnt how to use Adobe Premire Pro profesionaly. Which is a sucess for me considering I hadn't used it before.
Using the internet helped me to create my thriller, the internet helped to produce and distribute my film. The internet was useful when I was stuck and unsure of anything on Adobe Premire Pro. Whenever I was stuck and didn't know what to do I would look up the answer on the internet. Both of my surveys where done online and distributed online. This was done on socail networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, this meant that people could complete my survey monkey; especially my target audience. The internet also played a key part in uploading my project to YouTube, and being seen by people or shared on Facebook. I found it easy to upload my video onto Youtube, due to doing it in the past. Unfortuntly for me the school has filterd out YouTube and Facebook, so I had to take it home on a memory stick and then publish my media thriller on YouTube at home. Music for my media thriller also had to be found on the inetrnet at home, because YouTube is filterd.
When making my media project socail networking sites became useful to share and spread round my survey monkey, to get answers, and my thriller. Social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter are a sucessful form of communication and a way of spreading 'a word'. By using Facebook and Twitter meant it was quick and I got results fast. During the making of my media thriller it was useful to share my survey monkey questionare and video beacuse it would get opinions on what they like and don't like. Due to them being my target audience this hopefuly helped me to produce a triller opening which they would enjoy.
Having the equpitment to create a thriller opening, means that the equpitment is out there for others to use and create a thriller, or and genre they want. Fortunutly for me I had access to Adobe Premire Pro, which was good and perfect for what I nedded to do with my media project, helping me to get a proffesional, as I could get, look about my media project. Due to todays software it means that many people are able to create an interesting video if they wish to, this caused the film industry to expand. Good technologies become easier for people to get hold of to create a proffesional looking film. Videos and films are increasing due to easy to use and get hold of software and devices.
